First Young Jewish Care Law Committee Event Raises £2,000
The Young Jewish Care Law committee held their first event in central London on Tuesday 22 January raising £2,000 for Jewish Care. The event, attended by 75 people, was hosted by Lord Neuberger, President of the Supreme Court who was in conversation with Times and Spectator columnist, Hugo Rifkind. The evening was sponsored by Norton Rose and hosted by Linklaters.
Andrew Freedman and Lizzi Barnett, co-chairs of the Young Jewish Care Law committee said: “This was the first Young Jewish Care Law event and it was a great honour to host Lord Neuberger and Hugo Rifkind who engaged the packed audience with a lively discussion which covered topics as diverse as female judges and Abu Qatada.
“The event was a complete sell-out and we were absolutely thrilled with its success. We hope this will be the first of many Young Jewish Care law events."
