Community and Day Centres

what we do...

Older People

We have six community centres around London and the south-east, all offering good food, social activities, entertainment and friendship in a Jewish atmosphere. We also offer support and advice where needed. Please choose from the drop-down menu below.

At all our day centres, we offer a programme of stimulating activities in a safe, comfortable and Jewish environment. All our staff are trained and each member is periodically reviewed to ensure we meet their needs. Please choose from the drop-down menu below.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Needs

We focus on preventive care and aim to rebuild confidence, self-esteem and independence. Our therapies and activities can help people cope with short or long-term mental health issues, whether they are going through a period of depression or anxiety or have long-term needs.

We offer a great range of activities at our Redbridge and Brenner community centres, and social clubs and support groups including Butterflies, a group for young parents who have lost their mothers. Please choose from the drop-down menu below.

Younger people

We’ve got all sorts of activities for younger people, including football, drama and discos. We also educate students who are planning to spend their gap year in Israel on Israeli themes and run leadership training courses.

Holocaust Survivors and Refugees Services

At the Holocaust Survivors Centre, we offer a unique range of therapeutic services for Holocaust survivors, refugees and those who came to the UK on the Kindertransporte. Please choose from the drop-down menu below.
