Donations in Memory

The death of a loved one is distressing for family and friends, so finding a way to remember them is an important way to show your love and support. Jewish Care has created 'The Book of Life' to answer such a need.

The 'Book of Life' is a beautiful volume on permanent display at our Head Office, designed to formalise gifts made in memory of a loved one.

The receipt of one or more donations, of any size, will ensure that the name of the departed is inscribed in the book, and the bereaved family will receive an inscribed scroll honouring their loved one.

£50 could pay for a day’s care at a dementia day centre

The bereavement need not be recent - entries can commemorate someone who died many years ago, or can be made on the occasion of the Yahrzeit of a loved one.

Entries can be arranged by anyone wishing to make a memorial donation - immediate family, relatives or friends. Donations can be made by individuals, families or groups or organisations in memory of colleagues.

£100 could pay for a skilled therapist to run an activity session at a residential home

To make a memorial donation please call 020 8922 2817.
