Volunteering
Jewish Care has always been strongly associated with volunteering in the community. Already 2,500 people give their time, bringing a very special dynamic and commitment to the organisation, and we warmly welcome newcomers.
Jewish Care's local committees are made up of local people raising funds for their local jewish Care homes, day centres and outreach work. raised over £250,000 thanks to 200 volunteers and all the people in the community who supported them. We have committees in London, Ilford and Brighton.
They provide the things that make a real difference to the day to day lives of those we help.
They've bought TVs, computers, new furniture, transport and recently funded an amazing project to buy state-of-the-art equipment for people with dementia.
