North West London Committees
A number of committees have chosen to support a particular home as committee members have relatives or friends who have been or are currently residents in that chosen home.

These committees are eager to raise money to purchase specific items which will benefit all the residents. While, at the same time they can see their efforts going towards something tangible to help their loved ones. They include:

ACE Committee (Ella & Ridley Jacobs House - Hendon)
Friends of Clore Manor (Hendon)
Friends of Ella & Ridley Jacobs House (Hendon)
Friends of the Holocaust Survivor's Centre (Hendon)
Friends of Jack Gardner (Golders Green)
Friends of Kay Court (Swiss Cottage)
Lady Sarah Cohen House Fundraising Committee (Friern Barnet)
Princess Alexandra Fundraising Committee (Stanmore)
Friends of Rosetrees (Friern Barnet)
Friends of Rubens House (North Finchley)

Other committees help with general fundraising for Jewish Care.  They usually organise around three events a year which include lectures, quiz nights, sponsored walks, special cinema screenings, race nights, bridge evenings, garden parties, and other various outings.

These committees meet around once a month, or more frequently in the run-up to a event. We are always seeking new members who will be welcomed - giving time is just as valuable as giving money. These committees include:

Challenge Committee (Pinner, Stanmore)
Harvest Committee (Ilford)
Kingsbury Aid (Kingsbury, Bushey)
Options (Bushey, Wembley)
Outlook (Finchley)
Springdene (Woodside Park)

If you are interested in starting a new committee or joining a current one, please email local committees or call on 020 8922 2804.
