Staff at Jewish Care's head office were offered a neck, back, shoulders and arms massage as part of the national Learning at work day on Thursday 22 May. The therapists from Energise You arrived with specially designed chairs, with the aim of managing stress and boosting energy levels.
The day was sponsored by the Trad Union, Unite The Union - Amicus Section, whose representatives Tabi Mpala and Nathan Jelf, were present, as was Rachel Johnstone from Campaign for Learning.
The initiative was welcomed by Jewish Care staff members who have recently moved to remporary offices in Colindale, north-west London, while a £40m care campus is being built on the health and social care charity's Golders Green site.
Sharon Rose of Jewish Care's Human Resources team, said: "We've had excellent feedback, everyone found it very relaxing and we have planned further sessions this summer."
