plans for the future

Looking Forward

Over the next ten years, Jewish Care will need over £100m to care for vulnerable people. We are relying on at least £40m of this sum being donated by generous supporters in our community.

All our existing buildings as well as our new developments exceed health and safety requirements and are warm, modern, bright and inviting. We spend more than £1m a year on our ongoing maintenance and refurbishment programme alone.

New Project:

Asher Loftus Way development

Jewish Care is currently working on plans to develop a care home on the Asher Loftus Way site, which is situated in Friern Barnet, North London. The 48-bedroom care home will cater for older people with nursing and dementia care needs and will be located on the south-east side of the site.

"Healthcare needs are changing rapidly. Although it’s wonderful that most of us can look forward to living longer these days, there is an inevitable requirement for more dementia care as a result.

"Those who remain healthy prefer to stay in their own homes, and need our support to do this."
