Right now we’re able to offer practical assistance, emotional support, care and comfort to thousands of people in our community every year. But, if all we get is excuses, sooner or later all we’ll be able to offer is excuses.
Wherever you are in Jewish Care you will always find dedicated and committed staff and volunteers. We understand the importance of providing culturally sensitive care that respects our clients beliefs and traditions, while maintaining our high standards. However, we rely heavily on donations which enable us to offer Jewish Care, so we need the community’s support more than ever.
When a carer calls us to say they can’t cope anymore, our Family Carers’ Service will take the call and help. This is just one situation we face daily but there are many more. They don’t make the headlines, there is no dramatic television footage that pulls on our heartstrings, but these problems are very real. So please, make a donation today.
Please remember why to donate to Jewish Care on Pesach:
Donating online is quick and easy:
£25 Could pay for a Jewish Care social worker, like Sara, to access someone who needs support.
£50 Could pay for a physiotherapist session to keep our clients mobile.
£100 Could pay for a week’s worth of home care visits to an isolated household oersin.
£250 Could pay for a Seder at a care home so the residents can celebrate Pesach.
£500 Could pay for the running costs of a care bus to help isolated members go to and from a day centre.
£1000 Could pay for a week’s respite break in a care home specialising in dementia care.
