Relax in the garden
A resident in one of our homes left us a gift which paid for new garden furniture, creating a lovely place to relax in the garden she'd loved.
New audio books
One of our supporters died at the age of 100. In her latter years she had failing eyesight and enjoyed listening to her weekly tape of Jewish news and articles. In her will she left a gift of over £4,000 for the benefit of visually impaired people and this has paid for new books to be recorded onto tape at Jewish Care's KC Shasha Centre.
Lounge filled with laughter
A very generous gift of £250,000 enabled us to create a wonderful lounge at one of our residential homes.
A long-lasting gift
A residuary legacy we recently received will be used to meet the running costs of one of our mental health day centres for two years.
