Staff work in close partnership with volunteers, helping to offer a warm, friendly and Jewish environment for all members to enjoy.
The centre offers a very high level of care for up to 22 people a day and clients can attend as many days as required dependent on their circumstances and places available.
Facilities
The centre is located in the heart of Edgware, just off Station Road, a two minute walk from the underground and bus station. Leonard Sainer has wheelchair access directly from the street into the main room.
The centre is open Monday to Thursday 9.30am - 3.15pm and Friday 9am - 1pm.
Services include:
Throughout all our work at Leonard Sainer we recognise and celebrate the Jewish way of life, helping maintain tradition and giving a sense of belonging in a culturally sensitive environment.
Standards are monitored by the quality assurance department which includes professional and lay assessors.
Care plans are negotiated for each client as part of our referral and assessment process. They are reviewed regularly so we can be certain the service meets the needs of the client and their carers. Additional support may be provided from one of Jewish Care’s other services, such as home care, and we also support carers through our Carers’ Network.
Referrals and admissions
Referrals can be made directly by social workers, care managers, GPs, hospitals and families. This process is straightforward – please contact Jewish Care Direct on 020 8922 2222.
