Jewish Care offers a unique range of therapeutic services for Holocaust survivors and refugees, tailor made to meet their specific needs.

Created by artist Moshe Galili

The Holocaust Survivors' Centre is a social centre open six days a week for Jewish survivors of Nazi atrocity in Europe during World War II, or who came to this country as refugees after November 1938 and on the Kindertransporte.

Members are welcome to participate in a daily programme of activities and enjoy a wonderful freshly cooked lunch.

The specialist workers in the neighbouring Shalvata therapy centre offer practical and emotional support related to past trauma and current difficulties. We record testimonies and link survivors to schools to speak about their experiences. We work with more recent trauma experienced by refugees from former Yugoslavia.

We are used internationally by professionals working with the aftermath of war. We offer training to a wide range of organisations as well as supervision of academic researchers in this field.
