ATID is Hebrew for 'future'. At ATID, we aim to help individuals with mental health problems identify education, training and employment goals and find ways to achieve those goals.

We give information and advice to clients to enable greater independence, confidence and self-esteem.

We work with anyone who:

  • is aged 18+
  • recognises themselves as having a mental health problem
  • is able to work in partnership with staff to set future goals
  • is motivated to reach future goals

Employment
We will look at various options to find the most suitable for the client, including help with CV writing, sourcing part-time and full-time work placements or finding voluntary work.

Education
We help clients find appropriate courses, support enrolment and work in partnership with the college.

IT Training
We run IT courses including the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), an internationally recognised qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills. No previous IT experience is needed to access this training.

We are based in each of Jewish Care's three Centres for Wellbeing. Referrals can be made by yourself, carers, GP's, psychiatrists, social workers etc. If you or someone you care about needs help, please contact Jewish Care Direct on: 020 8922 2222 or email us
