We regularly train all staff to provide care that meets the needs and preferences of our clients in a holistic, person-centred way. We promote and encourage independence, choice, privacy and dignity.
We encourage residents to participate in decisions about their care and life in the home and welcome relatives and friends into our homes to participate in their care or simply to share their company.
Our homes provide four categories of care:
Two of our homes offer care to those who are refugees or survivors of the holocaust in a manner that acknowledges and responds to these experiences.
Some homes can provide short-term respite care, subject to availability.
Jewish Care is a member of the English Community Care Association (ECCA), the largest representative body for community care in England. It works to help organisations such as Jewish Care deliver the high quality care that communities require and deserve. For further information please go to the ECCA website
