Jewish Care's Community Centres are the lifeblood of our organisation and a focal point for our communities - bringing people together, promoting health and wellbeing and encouraging people to learn new skills.
Our centres enable people to come together to meet, socialise and engage with the wider Jewish community.
They are politically and religiously neutral but programmes are designed to promote and celebrate our Jewish cultural identity.
Our Community Day Care centres for older people are widely acclaimed for their warmth, vibrancy and traditional Jewish values.
Our Special Day Care Centres offer a welcoming, safe place for people with dementia or Alzheimer's to spend time, and provide a welcome break for family carers.
The Burr Day Centre in Redbridge helps adults of all ages regain confidence after illness. Clients may have had, or currently have Parkinson’s, stroke, multiple sclerosis, heart conditions or cancer, or suffer from a sensory illness.
