Find out what we do in your area

connect@

Would you like to learn new skills and take part in fun activities with other like-minded people from your community? Then connect@ is for you.

We have a variety of interesting activities to appeal to the more active, independent older person.

If you would like to do something different and make some new friends, come along and discover what you can do in Kenton, Southgate, Hendon and St John's Wood.  You can come for the whole day if you like, or just choose an activity or class that interests you.

Amongst the range of programmed sessions that take place at the centres are:

  • T’ai Chi
  • a range of art classes
  • musical appreciation, quizzes and entertainment
  • play-reading
  • current affairs and topical discussions

Speakers and facilitators visit our centres from the worlds of music, journalism, Judaism, jewellery and genealogy, among many others.
Other activities offered include Jewish history and art appreciation. You can even have a manicure.

Sam Cohen who attended connect@southgate since his wife's death says:"After losing someone who meant everything to me, this place has given me a new lease of life."
