Working with the Jewish community

Services at Jewish Care are based on firm partnerships between those who use our services, those who provide them - our staff and volunteers - and those who support these services financially through donations.

To ensure we provide services that meet the cultural, health and social care needs of the whole Jewish community, we need to be in constant dialogue with local community and cultural groups and their leaders.

We have strong associations with synagogues, welfare groups and youth and educational bodies to help us understand the needs and aspirations of the Jewish community. Through our relationships with them, we hope to help them understand what Jewish Care can offer and how we provide our services.

Every year synagogues and community groups support the work of Jewish Care in a variety of ways. We could not exist without this support.  Our Synagogue Liaison Committee produces a community appeal to give people an insight into the services Jewish Care provides and an opportunity to donate and support our work.

If you would like to talk to Jewish Care about how we can work together with your group, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
