You may want to volunteer at Jewish Care for a number of reasons; to give back to the community, for your CV or perhaps for an awards certificate programme.
1. Email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know you’re interested.
2. Download and complete an application form.
3. You will be invited to a placement interview.
4. If there is a volunteer vacancy, you will be invited to meet staff at the specific resource to get more information about the role.
You are signed up as a volunteer and now it's time to pick your role.
Check out the current list of vacancies,
see which roles fit you best and get in touch.
When applying, remember to think about:
What happens if there isn’t a vacancy?
You will be put on a waiting list and receive monthly email updates as new volunteer vacancies arise.
Can you volunteer in a group?
If you want to get involved with a group, for example with some school friends, we can accommodate groups of up to 6 people. Please note that group volunteering is not dependent on vacancies- we create the opportunities.
We have links with many schools who send groups to volunteer. Check with your school to see if they have signed up to send volunteers to Jewish Care. How long does the application process take?
