Respite care (subject to availability)
Care home for older people and people with dementia
Otto Schiff, based in Golders Green, is a specialist care home for people with dementia. Residents can take part in a day programme with a specific focus on memory impairment.
As well as providing a long-term home for residents with dementia, it also offers short respite stays of between one to three weeks.
Each of the 42 bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom and assistive technology to promote greater independence.
Carers have been fully trained in all aspects of looking after people who are living with dementia.
Support and advice is available for relatives and friends through the carers’ support team based within Jewish Care.
Otto Schiff House is situated within bustling and vibrant Golders Green with its numerous cafes, bakeries and shops, just around the corner. The home itself is in the Maurice & Vivienne Wohl Campus, with its own hairdresser, shop and library.
