Southend & Westcliff Jewish Community Centre
Based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex, Southend & Westcliff Jewish Community Centre is for any member of the Jewish community, aged 50+ who wants to join.
Will be looking to resume activity for the members of Southend and Westcliff Day Centre during the week commencing 9th August with the following service changes:
The centre will re-open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This is to reflect the changes in attendance we had noticed before the pandemic with these days being the most attended and preferred by our members.
We will continue to offer a hot meal on site. For those members who require transport, this will be co-ordinated by Jewish Care using community transport resources such as Dial-a-Ride, volunteer drivers and private hire.
There will be no changes at all to our membership or attendance fees, and they will remain as they were before the pandemic.
Community Services available to members:
This is the place to catch up with your friends from Southend & Westcliff Jewish Community Centre in our social events such as chatty cafe, tea parties, chaps that chat and more.
From online speaker events to quizzes and cooking, we've got a variety of online events. You can see the full programme of activities at jewishcare.org/keepingactive
