Southend & Westcliff Jewish Community Centre
Based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex, Southend & Westcliff Jewish Community Centre is for any member of the Jewish community, aged 50+ who wants to join.
We were heartbroken when we were forced to close the doors of our 12 community centres in March due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, but we are absolutely still open and providing a number of key services to meet the needs of our community.
Jewish Care is providing Meals on Wheels to 3 times more people than before the Covid-19 pandemic. Our befriending volunteers are calling over 1000 people a week. Our lively virtual programme of talks, digital entertainment and online activities is growing every week.
