ANITA DORFMAN HOUSE
Purpose-built to the highest standards, Anita Dorfman House provides brand new facilities and quality care in a modern, Jewish environment. The home is available for new residents who would like to move in from the community, as well as the 45 residents who currently live in The Princess Alexandra Home.
The 64 rooms are arranged in small, intimate clusters of 16, so residents and staff can develop individual relationships with each other and enjoy a more personal way of living. Each room is fully accessible with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms all face directly onto bright, modern, open-plan living space with a dining area serving Kosher food. Residents can take part in communal events and activites that happen throughout Sandringham (from 2020).
WOLFSON ASSISTED LIVING
Part of the Anita Dorfman House care home. Residents have the opportunity to live on their own, or with their spouse, in an apartment with access to care whilst benefitting from all meals and housekeeping provided for them.
There are 16 apartments where residents can take comfort in knowing that they can continue to live life in the way they want, with the support of an on-site team round the clock. These apartments cater for residents with low care requirements.
Each assisted living apartment sits within a small household of 8, allowing residents to get to know their neighbours and the staff. The apartment features an open-plan bedroom and living area. There is also a kitchenette with a fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave to make snacks, and a bathroom with a wet-room style shower.
Residents are part of the Anita Dorfman House and they can join in all the activities, clubs, trips and outings that happen in the main care home and across Sandringham (from 2020). There is the option to dine in the rooftop dining room, on the communal terrace, or in the ground floor restaurant of the care home.
