ANITA DORFMAN HOUSE
Purpose-built to the highest standards, Anita Dorfman House provides brand new facilities and quality care in a modern, Jewish environment. Built on the site of our former The Princess Alexandra Home, Anita Dorfman House maintains our community of residents, staff and volunteers, whilst providing a beautiful, secure and modern home for new residents.
64 en-suite rooms are arranged across 4 intimate hubs of 16 rooms, encouraging the development of individual relationships between staff and residents and providing a more personal way of living. Each hub forms a household comprised of its own dining/kitchen area serving tasty and nutritious Kosher food, in addition to one or more lounge areas for day-to-day socialising and activities. These lounge areas also provide the perfect setting for more intimate moments with relatives and visitors. Each of the four households receive direct sunlight and face out to beautiful woodland vistas or to the large central courtyard.
WOLFSON ASSISTED LIVING
Residents have the opportunity to live on their own, or with their spouse, in an apartment with access to care whilst benefitting from all meals and housekeeping provided for them.
There are 16 apartments where residents can take comfort in knowing that they can continue to live life in the way they want, with the support of an on-site team round the clock. These apartments cater for residents with low care requirements.
Each assisted living apartment sits within a small household of 8, allowing residents to get to know their neighbours and the staff. The apartment features an open-plan bedroom and living area. There is also a kitchenette with a fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave to make snacks, and a bathroom with a wet-room style shower.
Residents are encouraged to live life to the full through a varied programme of activities to enjoy, ranging from trips and outings, visits from a therapy dog, musical concerts, quizzes and much more. Our team of Activities Organisers liaise regularly with residents to ensure that everyone has a say in the types of activities they would like to do.
