Hyman Fine House
Short term stay, subject to availability
Care home for older people and people with dementia
Hyman Fine House is located in a quiet street in Kemptown, just off Brighton’s famous sea front. As the only Jewish care home for older adults in Brighton, residents are supported to remain active in the community and to make the most of the glorious local setting.
Life at Hyman Fine House
Hyman Fine House embraces the creative and vibrant characteristics of Brighton. There are several lounges throughout the home that are perfect for catching up with friends and family. One of these lounges has a sea view and another has bifold doors that open on to the pretty courtyard. Residents can enjoy their Kosher meals in the dining room.
Volunteers from the local community help to run activities and services on Shabbat and Jewish festivals in the home’s beautiful synagogue. Residents are frequently involved in local projects such as the Brighton Fringe Festival, Mazel Tov Brighton and other arts programmes. The home is fortunate enough to have their own transport to take part in excursions to the local Jewish day centre, garden centre and other places of interest.
The surrounding area
There is a lot to do in and around Brighton, such as theatres, museums and a whole host of cultural activities.
