Care home for older people and people living with dementia

Clore Manor is a vibrant and friendly care home for older people in Hendon, North West London. Set in the heart of Hendon’s Jewish community, the home offers a warm, Jewish atmosphere in a lively, family-oriented environment.

Life at Clore Manor

Residents enjoy the home’s bright, airy main lounge and dining area and like to sit in the pretty patio garden during the summer months. There are also smaller, more intimate lounges that residents can take advantage of, with accessible kitchens where they can help themselves to a drink. Residents are encouraged to continue with their hobbies and to take part in the variety of activities on offer each day such as art, live music, card games, quizzes, Jewish heritage talks, and much more.

Clore Manor has close ties with the local Jewish community, often hosting children from the local schools; even the weekly Shabbat service is led by students from Hasmonean Boy’s School. There is a constant flow of dedicated, active volunteers to Clore Manor, who carry out a wide range of roles to help the residents maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle. Residents benefit from physiotherapists, hairdressers and manicurists, and can take part in the regular themed special events including Ascot and Wimbledon days.
