Independent Living apartments
Selig Court, based in Golders Green, is a complex of apartments for those over the age of 60. There is a support team on-site who can offer tenants assistance or any help they may need.
Selig Court consists of 45 one and two-bedroom purpose-built individual apartments for rent in Jewish Care’s Maurice and Vivienne Wohl Campus in Golders Green.
Each apartment has been designed to promote independence while at the same time offering peace of mind, with access to around-the-clock support should it be needed. Priority is given to Holocaust survivors and refugees from Nazi persecution.
Shabbat and the main festivals will be celebrated in the communal areas of Selig Court. All eating-places on the campus are under kosher licence. (What is eaten in the apartments is the choice of the tenants)
Jewish Care is recognised as an ‘Approved Operator’ by the Associated Retirement Community Operators (ARCO) in relation to our independent living schemes at Selig Court and Wohl Court. We aim to comply with the high quality standards set by the ARCO Consumer Code, demonstrating our commitment to providing clear and transparent information for customers and maintaining a fair and consultative relationship with our tenants.
The Care Quality Commission checks whether hospitals, care homes, GPs, dentists and services are meeting national standards. CQC have not inspected this service yet. Click here to read more.
