Supporting people to live independently in their own homes.

We offer a flexible approach to meet each person's individual needs, from help with personal care and medication, to escorting you to a party or on a weekly shopping trip.

Mum is 94 years old and as she has got older, she has found things more physically challenging. Carers pop in four times a day to see mum. We are lucky to have Jewish Care and the secret is in the name – Care – as they really do."  - Stan, son to our client Pearl

Our highly trained professional staff fully understand the cultural needs of our clients, and can assist from medication to meal preparation, washing and dressing. Our staff also bring fun, life and social activities into clients’ homes – enjoying a game of cards or a chat over a cup of tea. We can also assist with light housework such as cleaning, ironing and changing beds.

The Home Care service is available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

We provide home care for people who are paying for themselves (who are also known as ‘self funders’) and to those who receive care funding.

I feel safe because they wear their full PPE and masks and I know they’ve been tested and it’s great that I have a rota every week so I know who is coming in advance. I really feel like they are friends we have got to know each other so well over the years.” - Gloria, client

You only pay for the care you receive

We like to think we offer excellent value for money for all our clients. One of the reasons for this is that we will only ever charge you for the time we spend providing care. We do not charge for travelling time. Nor do we charge extra for care at weekends or bank holidays.

We pride ourselves on offering that little bit extra. We have a really happy team of carers who really feel like they are part of the Jewish Care family and will go out of their way to make sure our clients are cared for in the best possible way." - Carol Rowcliffe, Registered Home Care Manager
