For schools

Jewish Care works with over 30 schools, youth groups and nurseries. From fundraising to volunteering, we have lots of ways for schools to get involved in our work.

You can support us by...

Getting involved with Purim Zumba

Hold a Zumba session at your school with a Purim fancy dress twist. The sponsored sessions are organised by Jewish Care and give children the opportunity to exercise, have fun, celebrate Purim and raise money for Jewish Care to help support the older people in our community.

Taking part in The Great Jewish Bake Day

If you are a champion cupcake baker, star biscuit maker or happy pretending shop-bought cakes are bakes of your own, we are asking you to bake and share for Jewish Care. Every penny raised will help fund Jewish Care services.

Performing at Jewish Care’s Family Fun Day

If your school has a choir or dance troupe you can perform on the main stage at our annual Family Fun Day. It is a day full of entertainment, fun and food. Children can enjoy a wide range of activities including bouncy castles, bungee trampoline, face painting and go-karts.

Your school can also get involved by:

  • Running your own fundraising event
  • Making a fundraising committee
  • Choosing Jewish Care as your school’s charity partner
  • Or anything else you would like to do!
