Volunteering over the festive period

Recruitment Process

Following receipt of a suitable application, we will invite you to attend an interview to find out more about you and discuss possible volunteering opportunities.  Following a successful interview, you will be invited to attend our Volunteer Induction Training, held every 4-6 weeks at Amélie House in Golders Green, with the option of attending a 1-day course or a 2-part evening course.  You will also be required to complete a DBS (previously CRB) application form.

  • Bridge Teacher

    Commitment Ongoing, 1 hour every 2 weeks Location Connect@Kenton

    Teaching members to play bridge.

  • Newsletter Editor (Rela Goldhill at Otto Schiff)

    Commitment Flexible Location Rela Goldhill at Otto Schiff (Golders Green)

    To produce a monthly newsletter, gathering information and photographs from the resource

  • Activity Volunteers

    Commitment Daily two hour sessions - Flexible Location Leonard Sainer, Edgware

    Monday - Current Affairs Monday - Music Group Monday - Reading Group Monday - Discussion Tuesday - Bridge/Kalooki Thursday - Music Group Thursday - Discussion Thursday - Bridge Friday - Quizzes/crosswords Flexible - Fish Tank Cleaner

  • Lunchtime Assistant x 2

    Commitment Daily 10.30-2pm Location Michael Sobell Jewish Community Centre, Golders Green

    Tto support older clients during lunch service.
