Why Volunteer?

Without our volunteers, we couldn't function. We absolutely depend on you. Whatever your age, whatever your disability, whether you are working, unemployed or retired, there are opportunities to help at Jewish Care.

As well as helping others, you’ll get the chance to develop skills, build your confidence and make new friends.

Training and Development

Training is available so volunteers can carry out their roles to the highest professional standards, develop your skills, build confidence, make new friends and take on new and increasingly responsible tasks.

Volunteering for Jewish Care also means learning about our Vision, Mission and Values and for us to fulfil them.

We offer training days at regular intervals to make sure you are fully equipped and informed to start volunteering with us.
