A record-breaking Young Patrons Dinner07 Apr 2016
Jewish Care’s 8th Young Patrons Dinner at The Dorchester last week raised a record-breaking £175,000.
320 young people attended the dinner to support Jewish Care’s residential homes for people with mental health needs.
Campaigner, Jonny Benjamin, shared his personal experiences with guests who were shown a film about how Jewish Care are supporting Sidney Corob House resident Michael Lee following a breakdown brought on by the untimely death of his son and only child.
Jamie Landesberg, Chair of Young Jewish Care and the Young Patron’s Dinner Committee said,
“This was an amazing night. I’d like to thank Jonny Benjamin and Michael Lee for generously sharing their stories with us and also thanks to our dinner sponsors, Galliard Homes, raffle and auction sponsors and of course our guests, for their support. They have all made it possible to raise vital funds for Jewish Care’s mental health support services, a lifeline to individuals in our community.”
