Property Investment Breakfast Club with Sir Martin Sorrell

07 Mar 2018

Sir Martin Sorrell, CEO of WPP was the guest of honour at a Jewish Care Property Breakfast, sponsored by McLaughlin & Harvey, today.

He faced a series of questions from Philip Lewis on issues ranging from Brexit to his views on Trump, digital disruption and his roots and personal link to Jewish Care. On the latter he commented:

“I owe Jewish Care an awful lot. They kept my mum alive for many years after my dad died. She used to travel from St Johns Wood to the Michael Sobell Community Centre in Golders Green every day to work in Reception and I really believe it kept her alive till the very end. Jewish Care does a wonderful job – it’s important we do our bit to maintain it”.

Philip Cheevers, MD of event sponsors McLaughlin and Harvey, who have been contracted to undertake Jewish Care’s developments in Hendon and Stanmore, spoke about how impressed he is with the work the organisation and the support the community provides;

“I have been consistently impressed by Jewish Care’s strategic approach and determination to develop cutting edge social care facilities to meet the current and future needs of the Jewish community. What impresses me more is that these projects are made possible because of funding provided by the community”.
