Based in Golders Green, Michael Sobell Jewish Community Centre offers a diverse range of creative, educational and engaging activities for all ages. It is for any member of the Jewish community who wants to join.

What we offer

A programme of events and activities during the daytime, evening and weekends.  The programme is varied and tailored to many different interests, including exercise classes, adult learning, events, social groups, support groups and health and wellbeing services.  We also offer community celebrations based around the Jewish festivals. 

Day Programme 

Our day programme runs on-site for older adults.

Day Programme opening hours:

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am-3pm
From 11th May we will also be open on Wednesdays

Services Available

A Jewish Care minibus operates for our members who need additional help with transportation.

We offer hot, kosher meals on site. All of Jewish Care's resources use kosher ingredients and recipes, and our staff are fully trained in preparing food in a kosher way. Please enquire for further details.

Professional Gentleman's Club

Small social discussion group for gentlemen living with dementia. 
Fortnightly Fridays 10.30am to 12pm

Meals on Wheels

Jewish Care is providing Meals on Wheels to 3 times more people than before the Covid-19 pandemic. To access Meals on Wheels for the Michael Sobell Jewish Community Centre please click here.

Linda who is a befriender now keeps in touch with older members of the community on the iPad and phone now.
