Otto Schiff has 54 single bedrooms, separated over three floors and is designed with spacious communal areas including an open-plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. The home has its own private sensory garden filled with fragrant flowers, seasonal vegetables and plants. The home provides a friendly and stimulating social environment, with a dedicated activities coordinator who organises a varied activity programme, with a personal approach.
Carers within Otto Schiff are trained in all aspects of looking after people who are living with dementia. We also offer support and advice for relatives and friends of those living with dementia through the carers’ support team.
As part of the Maurice & Vivienne Wohl Campus, residents benefit from shared amenities such as a café and shop and often attend stimulating and enriching events held at Michael Sobell Jewish Community Centre.

Food
A tasty, nutritious and Kosher meal for every breakfast, lunch and supper.
Otto Schiff is supervised by the Kosher London Beth Din (KLBD), using fully kosher certified food products and suppliers.
We place traditional Jewish values at the heart of all we do at Jewish Care and that’s why we ensure that every breakfast, lunch and supper served in our care homes is tasty, nutritional and Kosher.
Our team of skilled chefs plan and prepare a varied menu each week and meet regularly with residents and their relatives to ensure that every palette is catered for.
Mealtimes are social times in our care homes, and we are committed to ensuring that each resident is able to enjoy a tasty Kosher meal. We understand that some residents may face difficulty swallowing their food (dysphagia), which is why we work in partnership with Hospital Kosher Meals Service (HKMS) to provide a wide variety of enjoyable and nutritional pureed Kosher meals.
Traditional foods that help our residents remember and mark key moments in the Jewish calendar are part of everyday life at all of our homes. Challah on Shabbat, doughnuts for Chanukah, honey cake for Rosh Hashanah and hamantaschen for Purim are all part of what makes Jewish life so important in our homes.
ACTIVITIES
Live life to the full with a range of fun and engaging activities.
Our residents are encouraged to live life to the full through a varied programme of wellbeing and lifestyle activities to enjoy.
Our team of Activity Co-ordinators meet regularly with residents and relatives to ensure that everyone has a say in the types of activities they would like to do.
